Our home has attractive sunny gardens and is conveniently located near the park or promenade, good local transport and shops are close by.
Whilst we take pride in providing a traditional environment for our residents, we have installed the latest equipment to help make life easier. The home has a passenger lift, nurse call points and a television in each room. Hairdressing and chiropody services are available at our home.
A lively activity programme is ongoing, and the addition of a bright and airy conservatory has given more space for group activities e.g. bingo, painting, board games, music etc.
The local attractions can be incorporated into activities for clients or visits from relatives with outings around the local area.
Medical Services
Professional Registered General Nurses are on duty 24-hours a day to provide constant medical care to those who need it and we liaise closely with doctors alongside dieticians, Macmillan nurses, chiropodists and many other health professionals in charge of each patient to ensure our residents receive any treatment or care they require. Specialist equipment is in place to support with our client needs.
All staff are carefully selected and undertake intensive individual training. Great emphasis is placed on training our staff and each year we increase our training budget. Many of our carers are trained to NVQ 2 and 3 level with additional courses to educate on specific areas, i.e nutrition, dementia etc.
